How we engage God, the Church, and the World
In short… RCF’s DNA
We exist to glorify God in all things – working together to worship him, edify each other, and minister reconciliation to the world.
We want to love God, inspire each other, and connect people with Christ.
We come together as often as possible for encouragement and inspiration to be authentic witnesses of God’s glory, grace, and redemption to our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities.
We gather together so we can go do church.
We value transparency before the Lord, covenant with one another, and excellence in ministry.
We want to be real, be loyal, and be excited about life.
We trust God’s Word not only as the inerrant revelation of who God is and who we are in him, but also as the daily guide for life in grace.
We want to treasure and trust the Bible.
We celebrate courageous faith today. Regardless of past failures or past successes, nothing is as wonderful as trusting God today.
We want to trust God a little more each day.
We strive to live on mission with God in all of life – making disciples who make disciples who make our community noticeably better.
We want to journey with you in a life lived with God.
We pray that all peoples everywhere will enter into relationship with God through Jesus and enjoy life in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
We want to pray with you and for you.
We commit to forgiveness as the essential discipline for living unified in the grace and truth that come through Jesus Christ.
We will not give up on you.
We serve our communities creatively, generously, sacrificially, and joyfully… for the Gory of God… with no strings attached.
We love to pitch in and help.
We envision being strong enough to support, rebuild, and start churches in East Lewis County, the Pacific Northwest, and around the world.
We want what God is doing in our community to help other communities.
We lead through four related groups committed to God’s specific direction for our church: Congregation, Ministry leaders, Stewards, and Staff.
We love to see God use each of us for the purpose he has for all of us.
We know that all this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
God is on a rescue mission through Jesus… and we’re in.
“…For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross...”
