"What a delight it was to spend a few days here resting.  Last year in Tim’s class God convicted me about not having taken vacation in six years.  I know I needed to not only slow down and stop working for a week, but that I needed to trust Him regarding provision for such an endeavor.  Then Tim told us about the Getaway. It would be several months before I would actually commit to obeying HIm, but y’alls generosity aided in making my obedience easier.  It has been such a kindness from Him to enjoy these five days in the mountains. We’ve hiked waterfalls, spotted a mountain goat, and awed over the variety of mushrooms. We loved getting to puzzle with Sam, Abbie and Eli too.  And our living room chat was a highlight too. I love seeing how God is working in your family and valley. I leave GLAD!"
